What's in this database?

This is the joint Granada-Amsterdam light scattering database. A pioneering light scattering setup at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam produced a significant amount of experimental data until it was closed in 2007. An improved descendant of the Dutch experimental apparatus was then constructed at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía, CSIC: the Cosmic Dust Laboratory. The outcomes of these experiments are the scattering matrices as functions of the scattering angle for different samples of scatterers. To provide an incentive for further research and applications, all published Dutch and Spanish experimental data are accessible freely through this database.
